Choose what viewers can do
- 1
Open Platforms and find your watch page’s settings.
- 2
Under On the page, switch Chat, Questions and Reactions on or off. All three are on for a new page.
- 3
With chat on, Slow mode holds each viewer to one message every 5, 15 or 30 seconds.
- 4
Type your Blocked words, separated by commas: a message or a question with one of them is not posted. Links are never posted.
While you stream
Viewers’ messages arrive in Comments on Live, beside your platforms’ chats. Reply there, under Reply on your watch page: your line shows marked Host.
A viewer’s message has Delete and Block. Blocking takes their messages and questions off the page and keeps them from posting again.
Open Questions on Live: the most voted come first. Show on stream puts one on your picture where a Chat source is in the scene, Take off removes it, and Answered moves it down the list.
Changed your mind about someone? Unblock everyone is under On the page.
What viewers see
Viewers choose a name the first time they post. Nobody signs in.
Chat and questions sit beside the picture on a computer, and under it on a phone and in the app. Reactions float up over the picture.
Any viewer can report a message to Lumbus or hide someone’s messages on their own device. Reports come to Lumbus, not to you.
A page with a passcode or tickets shows its room only to the people it lets in.
