Add a platform and its stream key

Add one

   Open Platforms and press Add a platform.

   Choose a platform, and paste its stream key. A few platforms also give a server address: paste it under Server URL.

   Switch it on. Send a test sends ten seconds of colour bars and tone to that platform, to check the key before you go live. Tests are paused while you are live.

Where each stream key is

• YouTube

  YouTube Studio → Go live → Stream

• LinkedIn

  Go live → Stream from a third-party tool (RTMP URL + key)

• Facebook

  Live Producer → Streaming software → Stream key

• X

  Media Studio → Producer → your broadcast → Source (RTMP URL + key)

• Twitch

  Creator Dashboard → Settings → Stream

• Kick

  Creator Dashboard → Settings → Stream key

• TikTok

  LIVE Studio → Server URL + Stream key

• Instagram

  instagram.com → Add post → Live → Go live: the URL and stream key (a professional account; the key changes every time)

• Rumble

  Rumble Studio → your livestream → Direct RTMP: Stream URL + Stream key

• Trovo

  Creator Studio → Stream: Host URL + Stream Key

• DLive

  Go Live dashboard → fill in the stream details and Save: Stream URL + Stream key

How many at once

• Platforms at once, by plan: Free 2 · Studio 5 · Studio Plus 8 · Studio Pro 12 · Studio Max 20.

• Switch one off and another on whenever you like, even while you are live.

If a platform won’t go live

• Its row on Platforms says why. Your other platforms carry on.

• A key you reset on the platform stops working here: paste the new one.

• Some platforms change the key every time you go live (Instagram does): paste the new one before each stream.
